Second quilt of 2009

Here is the second finished quilt of 2009.



There wasn't much I could quilt on this one because every design I tried distracted from the original intent of the blocks.

A simple stitch in the ditch around the letters of the border.

Then a tiny feather design on the color corners.

This isn't what I usually put on quilts from this lady but there just didn't seem to be any design that looked right. The intent of the design is to showcase the memory blocks not the quilting.
