Please don't remind me that I'm poor; I'm having too much fun pretending I'm simply "living green" like everyone else these days.

Got batting scraps?

If you are like me and have these small strips of batting scraps left over after quilting; here's a great use for some of them. Swiffer sheets.

Instead of cutting the batting to look like a regular swiffer sheet that is held by the push in X spots..... cut them longer and sew a pocket on the ends. This holds it to the swiffer sweeper much better. I cut them 5" X 14" and folded over 2" on each end to fit mine. It's always best to measure your sweeper before making them. 6 covers took me a total of 10 minutes to make including the set up of my machine.
