We always have things waiting for us to do or things that we want to do, and when men retire from the jobs that have been their life for 40 yrs. or more they're at loose ends and the stress of not knowing what to do with themselves is what does them in. I've noticed this with old farmers especially. They keep farming until they can barely get on and off the tractor then when they are finally forced to retire they pass away in a year or two. I firmly believe that everyone needs to have developed some hobbies or interests, be it sewing, quilting, woodworking, genealogy or whatever. Just something to keep the mind and hands busy. We quilters will never have a problem in that area.Quiltin' LibraryLadyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16392850776832804028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5165933559460121959.post-5909086486009558902010-09-09T10:42:03.103-05:002010-09-09T10:42:03.103-05:00GOOD you took the weekend OFF.
